Discount tickets for Dubai Jazz Fest now available

Get 20 percent off tickets until 11.59pm on Wednesday February 14

If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on tickets for Dubai Jazz Fest, then, firstly, we don’t know why – but, secondly, you’ve now got a reason to get in quick and make sure you’re at the festival we declared the best in the city at the Time Out Dubai Music and Nightlife Awards last year.

Since it’s the season of love, the friendly folk over at the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival have said that, should you book your tickets for the three-day bash (which takes place between February 21 and 23) before 11.59pm on Wednesday 14 February then you’ll be treated to a whopping 20 percent discount.

So, as a Valentine’s gift to you, you’ll be able to see Duran Duran on Wednesday February 21 for Dhs274 instead of Dhs329, and John Legend or Ricky Martin for Dhs316 instead of Dhs379.

We can’t think of many reasons why getting a ticket wouldn’t be a great idea. So what are you going be treated to when you head over?

Well, firstly, you’ve got ’80s British pop rockers Duran Duran bringing top hits Rio, Girls on Film and Hungry Like The Wolf – with support coming from urban jazz outfit Renegade Brass Band – on Wednesday February 21. On Thursday 22 John Legend will most likely incite a mass cuddle when he drops All of Me (after a supporting slot from US soul singer China Moses).

Finally Latin American singer Ricky Martin closes the festival on Friday 23 with hits like Livin’ La Vida Loca, The Cup of Life, She Bangs and María.

With a cracking discount available on one of the best weekends in the calendar, why would you pass up this opportunity?
From Dhs274 (discounted rate). Discount ends at 11.59pm on Wed Feb 14. Emirates Jazz Fest: Feb 21-23. Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, www.dubaijazzfest.com.
