Comedians Mark Watson and Glenn Wool coming to Dubai

The Laughter Factory bringing in three top comics to tickle your funny bone

Nightlife & Music, Comedy

It’s time to bust a gut laughing with the arrival of three brilliant comedians from around the world.

Throughout April, The Laughter Factory is welcoming you for a night of, well, laughter.

Kicking off the night is Canadian TV star Glenn Wool, whose appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks have left the UK in stitches.

The funnyman has also appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News and on John Oliver’s New York Stand-up Show.

Danish dynamo Sofie Hagen is up next, and if you don’t know her now, you will after this show.

Since winning the career-making Best Newcomer award at last year's Edinburgh Fringe, this 28-year-old has landed mainstream TV slots including BBC's The One Show and appearances on Comedy Central.

If that isn’t enough, Mock the Week star Mark Watson is also on the bill. He is one of the UK’s most critically acclaimed live comedians and has had a long and notable Fringe career since he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2005 Perrier Awards.

Since then, Watson has gone on to star in The Island with Bear Grylls, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, BBC 1’s Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

The tour will be stopping off at locations across the city, including Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach in JBR, ON42 at the Media One hotel in Dubai Media City, and the Courtyard by Marriott Dubai in Green Community.

Dhs150. Various dates between Apr 19-26. Check out www.thelaughterfactory.com for dates and locations.
