FLO RIDA and Café Mambo Ibiza DJ Kaz James to perform at Dubai World Cup after-party

No post-race concert at racecourse, but Meydan to host huge bash

Nightlife & Music

One of the most exciting dates on the Dubai social and sporting calendars, the Dubai World Cup at Meydan Racecourse is nearly here – and there’s some exciting news for nightlife fans.

US rapper FLO RIDA and Café Mambo Ibiza DJ Kaz James will both be playing at the 2018 after-party on Saturday March 31.

Famous for its massive artists and show-stopping names, the Dubai World Cup has previously played host to singers including Sia, Janet Jackson and Kylie Minogue during its post-racing gig at the grandstand.

However, this year, with the arrival of huge new nightlife venture Soho Garden, there is to be no post-race gig at the track, but instead a massive after-party at the brand-new destination.

From 9.30pm until 11pm, entry to Soho Garden – which spans a whopping 14,000 sq m – will be free to ticket holders (excluding general admission) so get ready for a super night out.

Music will from Ibiza brand the Mambo Brothers DJ Kaz James.

And after, that FLO RIDA will be taking to the stage at Time Out Dubai‘s 2017 Club of the Year, WHITE Dubai, which will be hosting a party from 10pm until 4am.

US rapper FLO RIDA will be performing for after-partygoers into the early hours. Famous for hits including Low, Right Round and Club Can’t Handle Me, he’s no stranger to Dubai, having even previously filmed his Wild Ones video in the city.

The three-time Grammy award-nominated rapper, who has sold more than 80 million records worldwide, will also be playing at MAD in Abu Dhabi this month.

Tickets for the WHITE party start at Dhs200 for ladies (in advance) and Dhs300 for gents (in advance) and both include three drinks. If you want to make a decision on the day, tickets on the door are Dhs300 for ladies and Dhs500 for men, both again including drinks.

The world’s richest raceday boasts an eye-watering total prize pot of US$30 million (Dhs110,190,000) throughout the day, with the main event worth a cool US$10million (Dhs36,730,000), so make sure you book your tickets for a day full of top-class sport ahead of the party.

Then it’s time to put on those gladrags – and dancing shoes – and make a date at Meydan on Saturday March 31.
