Rapper to follow Diddy in performing at Gotha this week

It’s going to be another truly epic weekend at Gotha, the brand-new superclub open in Business Bay, as Grammy Award-winning rapper and R&B star Ludacris is coming to town.

The singer, rapper, songwriter, producer and actor adds to what has been an incredible start to life in Dubai for the club, which made its way over from Cannes in March. Having just completed an epic opening weekend, the club is now looking forward. Martin Solveig, Conor Maynard, William Singe, Tiësto and Fatman Scoop (who performed at the Time Out Dubai Music & Nightlife Awards After-Party), all performed between Wednesday March 28 and Saturday 31, and as the Dubai nightlife scene continues to gather apace before yet another massive pair of acts are coming this weekend.

Following the announcement that Diddy is making his Dubai debut on Thursday April 5 (a matter of mere days), Ludacris will be heading to the French-born club on Friday 6 for what’s promising to be a huge night.

The new superclub is a sight to see when it’s in full flow, with a mega visual rig, a a spine-tinglingly good sound system and a moving light display that really helps build a brilliant atmosphere. As the night goes on, this place gets rammed, so get in early to get a prime spot.

Ludacris aside, Wednesday nights are Gotcha at Gotha, where a whole bunch of special entertainment awaits from the club’s array of performers celebrating the elements. The launch night, on Wednesday April 4 will see a range of pyrotechnic performances from a special team of dancers, plus beats from MC No Limit, DJ Yeezy & DJ Matt Deavis. Oh, and ladies get comp drinks from 11pm until 1am. Talk about a bargain midweek bash.
