Dubai loves a swanky soirée, and we get particularly excited when visually stunning white party nights come to town.
One of the city’s top restaurants, the multi-award winning COYA at the Four Seasons Resort Jumeirah Beach (a former Restaurant of the Year winner), is getting ready to host La Noche Blanca. On Wednesday July 18 the entire restaurant will be transformed into an all-white wonderland for an evening of sophistication and glamour.
We’re already digging out our white chinos, linen shirts and boat shoes, because the theme for this year’s annual bash is all about the nautical. Waiters will be kitted out in sailor attire, and the restaurant’s decoration will follow the same theme for the night.
Judging by the pictures above from last year’s party, we’re in for a spectacular night where the venue really does pull out all the stops to make it something pretty special, and we can’t wait for this one.
This top-quality Peruvian heavyweight of the Dubai scene excels at almost everything it does, from ceviches to anticuchos – so you can’t really go wrong.
Meanwhile, the venue’s award winning bar – Pisco Lounge (our current Restaurant Bar of the Year), winner will be putting on live entertainment from DJs Stephane Karl and Rogerio Lopez, each bringing some up-tempo beats and feel good vibes. Over in The Members’ Club, a five-piece band lead by singer Ximena, will be playing throughout the evening.
Table service for the night comes with a minimum spend, starting from Dhs2,000, but entry to the bar and general areas for the night is absolutely free, so get over there.
While you’re heading to COYA, why not check out the Salvador Dali exhibition, which is hosting a set number of works from the acclaimed surrealist through until the end of August, with 60 pieces of the iconic artist’s work on display. The best bit? It’s free entry, so go see some melting clocks and lobster telephones.
