Ramadan Nights by Dish launches delivery iftar

Popular iftar event Ramadan Nights by Dish is coming to your home for Ramadan 2020.

The event is usually a pop-up from Dish Catering, but due to this year’s restrictions, Ramadan Nights is becoming a delivery concept.

It’s the fifth year for the popular iftar, which boasts a special fusion menu. It was due to be held in Al Quoz, but the team will now be bringing the iftar to your door.

The three-course menu is Dhs200 per person, with a minimum of four people, so it’s ideal for families living together at home. It comes with ten dishes to try, including roast beetroot hummus, pumpkin and nigella seeds served with Arabic and toasted flatbreads, sumac-marinated chicken wrapped in kunafa with mango chilli relish and the signature slow-braised shoulder of lamb in Middle Eastern spices, served with scented pilaf and confit garlic yoghurt.

Vegan options include a roast courgette stuffed with peppers, smoked paprika and vegan feta. There’s even a kids menu with chicken kofta served with yellow rice and a yoghurt dipping sauce.

"The public’s response since its inception has been overwhelming and we are delighted to be celebrating Ramadan Nights’ fifth season,” said Ryan Thomas, executive chef of Ramadan Nights by Dish.

“We look forward to delivering the memorable experience that is distinctive to Dish once again to our loyal customers, this time in the comfort of their own homes."

Dhs200 per person (minimum four people), half price (kids aged six-12), free (kids under six). Order 24 hours in advance. Daily from sunset (056 128 3247).
