Ramadan 2018: Union Coop reveals details of huge sale

Save up to 75 percent on 15,000 items


Superstore Union Coop has announced Dhs75 million in Ramadan promotions for massive savings throughout the period.offering a huge discount of up to 75 percent on up to 15,000 food and non-food products.

There will also be 24-hour supplier delivery and extra space to accommodate rising stock loads, to make sure the service flows smoothly throughout the month.

Branches at Umm Suqeim, Wasl and Al Twar will also operate 24 hours throughout Ramadan to help customers enjoy their Ramadan shopping at any time of the day.

Fruits and vegetables will see a discount of up to 50 percent and the wide variety of products on offer intends to keep the diversity of Dubai firmly in mind.

The Union Co-op said it was discounting the items in time for Ramadan.

The supermarket’s chief executive Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi said: “All our upcoming Ramadan campaigns and initiatives fall in line with our objective of spreading community happiness, which are part of Union Coop's continued efforts towards easing the burden on consumers, who get high-quality products/ commodities at competitive prices.”

The discounts were announced earlier this month by Dr Hashim Al Nuaimi, director of the consumer protection department at the Ministry of Economy, at the supermarket’s headquarters in Sharjah.

“Our strategies will not only help us ease the burden on our citizens and residents, but will instil the spirit of giving and doing good as well."

It is expected that the dates for Ramadan will be revealed tomorrow evening when the moon-sighting committee will gather to make their decision.
