There’s nothing we don’t love about this cool, home-grown café-restaurant in JLT. There’s outdoor seating by the lake and a petite indoor area, too. It gets packed out at lunchtimes and dishes are simple and authentic. The pho is fantastic, laced with spices and flavour, while the spring rolls, dim sum and salads are also excellent. A must-try for Vietnamese food-lovers.

This Asian spot in The Greens has a sprawling outdoor area and a cute bar by the pool. There’s a range of dishes from all over the continent and it’s all super-tasty. Order a bunch of dishes to share and dig in – top marks go to the Peking duck wrappers.

Streetery Food Hall
This was Highly Commended Best New Casual Restaurant in 2019 thanks to its low-key vibe and authentic street food dishes. Found in JLT’s Cluster D you can dine by the water in winter, or in the bustling venue inside. There are different kitchens for different cuisines with everything from Chinese barbecue to Malay curries. The classic green Thai curry is a top shout.
