LPM Restaurant & Bar
A worldwide name, LPM Restaurant & Bar is the best French restaurant in Dubai and is always packed. Staff are slick, table service is efficient and there’s always a lively buzz about the place – especially post-work when Dubai's DIFC crowd also come in for drinks at the bar. We’ve long waxed lyrical about the lamb cutlets, which are some tastiest around, that should definitely be paired with rich, indulgent dauphinoise potatoes. A famous name with good reason and the very best French restaurant in Dubai.

Decked out like a French farmhouse, with whitewashed woods and ornate rugs there’s also an open wood-fired grill at this French restaurant in Dubai’s Business Bay. Service is friendly and the French food is très bon, with the lobster risotto being one of our favourites.

Couqley French Bistro & Bar
This low-key bistro in JLT is a popular spot with residents in the area, but it’s worth a visit if you live further afield. Billed as “New York’s oldest French restaurant” Le Cirque’s Dubai outpost has a sophisticated space with an outdoor terrace. There’s everything from escargot to steak tartare and bouillabaisse on the menu of this French restaurant in Dubai’s DIFC. Our advice? The chateaubriand makes for an excellent date night meal to share, while the mussels are deliciously garlicky.
