Crown & Lion
Think of a British pub. What do you see? Snug booths? A darkly-lit interior? Typical British pub grub? As soon as you step inside Byblos Hotel’s buzzing pub – and it has authentic pub grub to match. At Crown & Lion you'll find the very best pub food in Dubai, trust us. We’ve worked our way through most of the menu, but our must-try is the belt-busting Cuban sandwich packed with traditional meats, mustard, pickles and melted cheese. A toasted triumph. Pub food in Dubai at its finest.

The Duck Hook
Named after a shot that curves hard to the left, if you’re a right-handed golfer, The Duck Hook is not your ordinary 19th hole. And never less that than when you’re reclined outside, soaking up the views of Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa tickling the clouds in the distance. Fish and chips is a solid choice, the pies fully clothed in flaky pastry are marvellous and the roasts are unmissable, and make up some of the best pub food in Dubai.

The Irish Village
We love the classic dishes at The Irish Village and the new spot in Dubai’s Studio City serves them as well as the original. This venue is non-smoking inside, too. From toasted sarnies to sausage and mash, this Irish pub also serves up a massive, meaty and delicious cottage pie – as well as a traditional carvery every Sunday. A top pub-restaurant to grab a hearty meal.

There are few classier pubs than this Jumeirah Beach Hotel joint – and the views across to Burj Al Arab are cracking too. All the classics are on the menu – and while it’s not cheap the portions are massive. Don’t miss the curries (served with rice, chips and naan), while the fish and chips is a mighty serving and the roasts are as good as your mum would make (sorry, Mum).
