Time Out Says

Purely in place to cater to the working masses in Downtown Jebel Ali, 1762 is a bustling gourmet deli café serving up a decent array of light bites and home-made juices. If you don’t work in the area, a visit to 1762 can be a little stressful due to the long, but fast-moving, queue and lack of seats inside. It’s all worth it, though, as the freshly-made wraps, salads and sandwiches are a delight; the mango and chicken wrap is particularly good, and very easy on the wallet, too. The home-made lemonade can’t be overlooked, either, with great big mason jars full of the stuff at the till. The service is excellent, especially considering how hectic the place is, with staff going above and beyond to accompany all requests. There are now also branches of 1762 in DIFC and Media City, so if you find yourself nearby, you can be assured of great food, excellent service and reasonable prices.
