It’s even growing in size, expanding from it’s petite dining room due to its popularity. The outdoor area overlooks the sleepy, swaying boats in Jumeirah Fishing Harbour making for a laid-back lazy meal.
Arrive in good time, as at peak hours you’ll be hard-pressed to get a table at this popular Asian spot, and that would be a great shame, as this is one place you don’t want to miss.
Dishes are prepared in front of you in the open kitchen in the corner. The small menu allows the chefs to give their ultimate consideration to every single element. Nothing is out of place, nothing is lacklustre, everything has a purpose.
Sushi is fresh, delicious and good value – with everything from spicy tuna and crispy eel to asparagus tempura.
The menu is playful, staff make excellent recommendations and while seafood is the main star here, meat-lovers have plenty to choose from including lamb ribs, chicken wings and spicy beef tartare.
And if you fancy dessert, you’re in luck, as there’s a delightful menu. Or, if you fancy a small stroll, the team opened a small dessert bar – Brix – late in 2019, where your sweet tooth will be more than satisfied (the Earl Grey truffles are incredible).
Unpretentious food in an unassuming setting, a massive hit.
