Have you ever wanted to go out for a meal and just couldn’t decide between Emirati, Indian and Persian cuisine?

For us it is a regular conundrum but finally it looks like our struggles are at an end.

SIKKA Café’s new SIKKA Experience is combining the three flavours in a special set menu over the course of 11 dishes. And you can indulge in them for either lunch or dinner from Sunday August 5.

The feast starts with three cold mezze including a vegetable platter with carrots and cucumber with labneh dip, hummus Beiruti, and SIKKA signature watermelon salad with pickled cucumber, cherry tomato and radish.

There’ll also be three hot mezze including SIKKA signature harra fries with chilli paste and coriander, falafel and chicken liver with pomegranate molasses and walnuts.

Mains include machbous (slow-cooked aromatic lamb with rice), Persian kebab (succulent beef and chicken servings in spiced saffron yoghurt), and the house favourite, butter chicken.

To wrap up proceedings, the SIKKA Experience offers a baked labneh cheesecake with date jam, and legemat, a traditional Emirati sweet dumplings dipped in honey or date syrup. Our mouths are watering.

Wash it all down with traditional coffee and tea, as well as special concoctions such as karak frappé with caramel or date syrup, and a selection of healthy and delicious mocktails.

The SIKKA Experience is available every day at both La Mer and City Walk locations for Dhs129.

We are chomping at the bit.
