If you’re looking to impress your date, Pai Thai has the perfect deal for you.

The romantic Thai restaurant at Madinat Jumeirah is laying on a special summer deal, where you’ll get a three-course meal for under Dhs200 a person.

The swanky restaurant – which you arrive to by boat – is set out on the waterways of Madinat Jumeirah, and not only is it a wow-worthy date spot, it’s a pretty special place to treat visitors to, as well. And with dinner coming in at Dhs185 a person, you’ll more than get your money’s worth.

The deal runs until Thursday August 30, so you’ve got a couple more weeks to take advantage of the deal. The limited-edition dinner menu features a range of Thai favourites, as well as vegan specials, and a free drink of coconut water served in a Thai coconut.

Starters include som tam je (green papaya salad, tomato, apple and cashew nuts with a tamarind dressing), plha nuea ma khua pho (grilled beef salad with aubergine, chilli paste, lemongrass, garlic and a lemon dressing), sate gai (grilled marinated chicken with coconut milk, lemongrass and a turmeric peanut sauce) or poh pia thod (vegetable spring rolls served with a sweet chilli sauce).

Move onto main courses such as gaeng khiew wan gai, (traditional Thai green chicken curry made with Thai aubergine, coconut shoots and Thai basil), goong phad med ma uuang (wok-fried crispy prawns with cashew nuts, spring onions, dried chilli, and oyster sauce), tao hoo phad prik Thai dum (wok-fried crispy tofu mixed with onion, peppers, green pepper corn, baby corn, black pepper and soya sauce), kana nuea nam man hoy (wok-fried beef with Thai broccoli, garlic, mushroom, oyster sauce), and pad Thai.

Finally, you can round it all off with a selection of desserts including tap tim Krob, a crispy water chestnut dessert topped with sugar syrup, coconut milk and crushed ice, a selection of authentic ice creams and sorbets in flavours such as coconut, mango, lemongrass and mandarin or a selection of tropical fruits.

That’s your next date night, sorted, Thai food fans.
Dhs185. Daily 6pm-11.30pm. Until Aug 30. Jumeirah Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah (04 432 3232).
