Feeling the pressure after a tough week at work? Celebrate the fact it's nearly the weekend with a new deal from Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. A massage and a three-course dinner sounds pretty good, right?
Wagyu Wednesdays offers tired gents a relaxing 60-minute de-stress massage at the Talise Ottoman Spa along with a three-course meal at The Rib Room.
Taking place every Wednesday from 5pm until 11.30pm, the experience kicks off with the hour-long massage, using a blend of essential oils to loosen up those tight knots and release any pressure.
De-stressing can work up an appetite, so prepare your palate for The Rib Room’s three-course menu based around Japanese wagyu beef, including Kobe pure-breed cuts.
Start off with in-house beech-smoked Loch Fyne salmon with apple, ginger and soda bread, or the restaurant’s salad with artichokes and blue cheese as an appetiser, all to make way for the main event.
Make room for venue’s signature Master Kobe Wagyu – a 500-day grain-fed and 99 percent pure-breed cut of beef that may be costly, but is worth it for the rich taste.
Finish off the meal with a selection of desserts, and you’ll be ready to call it a day.
Wagyu Wednesdays is priced at Dhs999, and you can reserve yourself a spot right here.
In need of more meat? For Dhs370, you can take on The Rib Room’s 350g John Stone beef striploin, served with three side dishes and a selection of mustards along with a glass of house grape from Tuesdays to Sundays.
If you’re more a fan of cheese than meats, you’ll want to head to The Scene’s upcoming VineFest, starting on Monday October 1.
Wednesdays never sounded so good.
Dhs999. Wed 5pm-11.30pm. Ongoing. Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Palm Jumeirah, www.jumeirah.com/wagyuwed (04 453 0456).
