New Lebanese restaurant opens at The Dubai Mall

Casual-chic café Bebabel is now open in Fashion Avenue

1/21

If you have a craving for mezze while shopping at The Dubai Mall this weekend, there’s a brand-new Lebanese restaurant you’ll want to check out. Bebabel is now open in the swanky Fashion Avenue section of the mall.

Bebabel comes from the same company as famous Lebanese restaurant Babel, but is the “casual-chic café” version of the brand.

The restaurant follows the opening of Babel at La Mer earlier this year. Babel, which was set up in Dbayeh, Lebanon in 2009, boasts a “signature twist on Mediterranean classics”.

Bebabel offers up a traditional Lebanese breakfast and an all-day dining menu. The café serves mezze, talatas, salads, grills and a variety of authentic desserts. There’s also a range of flatbreads for a quick bite.

Bebabel is a “modern, chic, innovative concept” and the interiors look swanky too, with seating both inside and on the terrace, which boasts views of the Burj Khalifa and serves shisha.

It joins several new openings in recent months in Fashion Avenue, including travel-themed restaurant Somewhere, Japanese spot Katsuya by Stark, boutique café Two by Symphony and Italian restaurants GIA and Cova.
