We love dim sum and never more so than when it’s free.

Next Monday (October 1), new JLT restaurant Nara Pan Asian will be giving away free vegetable dim sum to celebrate World Vegetarian Day, and we do love our veggies.

Tables of two or more will get a complimentary assorted basket of crystal veg, savoury sweet potato and edamame and truffle dim sum to mark the occasion, and what a way to celebrate.

The deal is available from lunch though to dinner when you purchase another item from the menu, so whether you’re a die-hard vegetarian or just fancy trying something new, there’s never been a better time to get stuck into the green stuff.

Founded by proud vegetarian Anand Radia, Nara Pan Asian also offers up a load of sushi, curries, stir fries and other Asian delicacies, though the dim sum takes the crown.

Created by dim-sum “specialist” Chef Huan, the dim sum at Nara is guaranteed to pack a punch, and let’s face it, you can’t go too wrong when it doesn’t cost you anything.

Observed every year on October 1, World Vegetarian Day celebrates the veggie way of life, promoting awareness and benefits if the lifestyle and encouraging people to ditch the meat from their diets.

We’re keen to get our five a day… of dim sum, that is.
Prices vary. Open Sat-Wed noon-1am; Thu-Fri noon-3am. Cluster A, JLT (04 421 1356).
