New vegan brunch and menu at JBR’s Tr!beca


Calling all vegans! Gone are the days of picking your way around the brunch buffet as your meat-eating friends pile their plates high.

Tr!beca Kitchen & Bar has launched a new completely plant-based brunch and it will be less limp lettuce leaf, more sizzling Latino flavour.

The “V-runch” Friday brunch runs weekly between 1pm and 5pm and costs Dhs249 for the soft drinks package, Dhs349 for house drink and Dhs449 for bubbly.

Brunchers can expect dishes including carrot tartare – organic carrot “meat” laced with capers, pickles, parsley and vegan “egg yolk”.

There are also vegan burgers on offer, comprised of a bean, onion and carrot patty topped with tofu bacon and vegan chipolte mayo.

Make sure you leave room for dessert and a vegan caramel and banana brownie, washed down with a Go Organic mixed drink.

All of the dishes on offer are 100 percent vegan-friendly, meaning you can indulge freely without worrying that any traces of meat or dairy have slipped their way in.

These dishes are also available as part of Tr!beca’s new “Just Veg It” vegan menu, which is available daily.

The New York-themed restaurant and bar has spacious indoor and outdoor seating decorated with art from local artists.

The offering is just one of many vegan options available across the city, including these tasty vegan burgers.
