October is here and if you listen closely you’ll likely hear the screech of terrace doors sliding open again at bars and restaurants up and down Dubai.

As the temperature turns back down to sub face-melting levels, the al fresco season is upon us.

And, first to storm outside is Hidden brunch, which boasts spectacular views of the Burj Khalifa.

This Friday will see the ever-popular party brunch pile out onto the terrace, so get your pouts ready for some serious shameless selfies – but with views that good, who can blame you?

Love Parties, the group behind other sell-out brunches including We Brunch and The Stage at Jazz@PizzaExpress, presents the three-hour brunch from 1pm to 4pm at Taj Dubai, which is spread across two venues: Tesoro and Treehouse.

There you’ll find multiple live cooking stations from barbecue to sushi with an excellent range of mixed drinks, house beverages and a strict music policy of dancefloor fillers. Plus, there’s a live saxophonist.

Be sure to be quick to book as places fill up fast.

Or, if you miss out, you can head to the five-hour after brunch at Hidden, too.

The Business Bay spot offers five drinks for Dhs150 and Dhs40 drinks thereafter from 4pm to 9pm.

We’ll see you on the sundeck, racking up the Instagram followers.
Dhs325 (soft drinks), Dhs375 (house beverages), Dhs425 (bubbly). Fri 1-4pm. Taj Dubai, Business Bay, www.hiddenbrunch.com.
