Nando's giving away free chicken in Dubai today – but there's a slight catch

The microeconomic theory of opportunity cost dictates that there's no such thing as a free lunch.

But Nando's is challenging that idea by giving away chicken at its UAE restaurants today to celebrate its 16th birthday.

That's right, it's totally free. Customers can claim a quarter chicken and a regular side in any of the chain's 22 outlets across the seven Emirates.

However, there's a slight catch – because the deal is available for just 16 minutes on a first-come-first-served basis.

It all kicks off at 4pm, which means that the second the clock strikes 4.17pm, all the chicken will be gone.

Fortunately, there's no spend necessary to claim the offer, but you will need to dine-in.

What that means is you should get yourself straight down to Nando's at 4pm and get ready to claim that quarter chicken.

The restaurant has 13 locations in Dubai, which we've helpfully listed below.

• Sheikh Zayed Road
• The Greens
• Novotel Suite Hotel – Al Barsha
• Al Ghurair Centre
• Marina Walk
• Arabian Center
• City Centre Mirdif
• City Centre Deira
• Dubai Festival City Mall
• Dubai Motor City
• Burjuman Mall
• Jumeirah Island Pavilion
• Ibn Battuta Mall

Happy dining.
