Dubai’s all about the secrecy at the moment. Secret clubs, hideaway jazz spots, password-to-enter bars, and now a secret menu.

BB Social Dining opened last year and we were immediately wowed by the food – so much so that we named it our Best Casual Newcomer at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2018.

And in honour of the DIFC spot turning one this month, the popular restaurant has revealed a number of “secret menu” dishes for you to discover.

To try out the new plates, thought up by chef and co-owner of BB Social Dining, Alex Stumpf, diners must request the special menu.

Seen something on the restaurant’s social media pages that tickles your taste buds but can’t locate it on the menu? Tell your waiter and the kitchen will rustle it up for you specially.

Based around bites, bao and barbecue, the laid-back restaurant serves up a super-tasty and creative menu.

The dishes, we’re told, will reflect the season and current newbies on the bites section include wagyu katsu, crispy tuna tartare, salt and pepper calamari and sea bream ceviche – all coming in at between Dhs55 and Dhs120.

There’s also a tasty sounding lamb kofta bao (Dhs55), which appears to be a winning mish-mash of cuisines as well as additions to the barbecue section – including a delicious looking wasabi lobster dish (pictured, left), barbacoa lamb and truffled rib-eye ranging from Dhs125 to Dhs195.

Looks like we’ve let the cat out of the bag.
Open Sun-Wed noon-midnight, Thu-Fri noon-1am. Happiness Street, DIFC, (04 407 4444).
