Jelly Belly opens three ice cream parlours in Dubai

Who said that ice cream should only be available in vanilla, strawberry and chocolate?

Jelly Belly has just opened three new parlours in Dubai, and there are a staggering 50 different tastes on offer.

The flavours are all inspired by the company's trademark jelly beans, and include favourites such as Very Cherry, Tutti Frutti and Triple Chocolate.

More bizarrely, you can even try Carrot Cake, Apple Pie or Birthday Cake if you fancy something a bit more experimental.

Jelly Belly promises that they're using only the "finest natural ingredients" to give a true-to-life taste, and prices start from Dhs28 per two scoops.

As well as flavours inspired by beans, there are also original creations, signature toppings and home-made bakery items on offer.

You can get hold of them at the ice cream parlours in La Mer, Al Seef and Deira City Centre. They're all open from 9am-12pm and are full of colour and fun.

If you really love ice cream, then why not head for The Sugar Factory and try out the King Kong Sundae challenge?

We here at Time Out Dubai tried it earlier this year for one of our Vlogs, and wolfed down as much of the 10,000-calorie dessert as we could. Spoiler alert: It didn't end well.

That's probably because the sundae features 24 scoops of ice cream, cookies, brownies, marshmallows, ice cream cones, and a whole can of whipped cream. The works. Check out our efforts below...
