If you’re already feeling the effects of the festive season, it’s time to check out brand-new healthy spot Bounty Beets.

The new café at Le Méridien Mina Seyahi takes the place of popular organic eatery Gourmet by Kcal, and it’s looking ripe for Instagram. Inside is kitted out with bright paintings and plenty of pink, while the terrace has tropical foliage.

Bounty Beets is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving up fresh dishes including plenty of gluten-free and vegan options, including a range of gluten-free pizzas.

The renovated eatery, which can seat 130 diners across its cute indoor area and al fresco terrace, has a fresh, new menu with some organic (and puntastic) dishes.

The breakfast menu includes “bravocado” (avocado on gluten-free toast with heirloom tomatoes and feta), “I yam what I yam” (caramelised bananas and sweet potato pancakes) and “you’re all I avo wanted” (avo toast with poached eggs).

There are also soups, burgers (including a black bean vurger), grills (chicken souvlaki, sea bream and more) and a range of healthy bowls including teriyaki salmon, tuna poke, acai berry power bowl and a kale and grapefruit salad.

Desserts include a raw apple tart and coconut caramel cheesecake made with coconut cashew cream, as well as fudge brownies and sticky toffee pudding (although we’re not saying the latter will help you with the pre-Christmas diet).

The restaurant is also dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint and tackling waste with its own Mina Composter which will turn 100kg of food waste into water and 3kgs of fertilizer, while all take-away coffee cups are recyclable.

We’ll see you for a slice of gluten-free pizza.
