A huge cheese festival is coming to Dubai this year

Love a wedge of cheddar? A slice of squidgy brie? How about a wheel of mature, tangy Parmesan?

There's good news if you do. A special fromage fest is happening next month in Dubai, and we're already marking our diaries.

Cheese Fest is coming to town on Friday February 22 and Saturday February 23 and it’s going to showcase a heap of dairy-based goodies.

SOPEXA Middle East is bringing the event to Dubai, and it will be held at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina.

It will run from 7pm until midnight on Friday and from noon until 10pm on the Saturday. And in even better news, it's free.

Cheese fans will be able to sample fromage from around the world and learn more about the growth of the cheese industry in Dubai.

You’ll be able to meet cheese sellers from Dubai, attend workshops as well as being able to cheeses imported from around the world. And kids will be kept entertained too thanks to dedicated activities throughout the day.

Can’t get enough of some molten gooey goodness? Check out our pick of the top fried cheese dishes.

Rather pair it with a glass of grape? Here are some top pairings nights to try this week.

Make ours a pungent slither of stilton.
Free entry. Fri Feb 22-Sat Feb 23. The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Al Sufouh.
