Get out those colourful feathers and shimmering, glittery outfits – a Brazilian street food carnival is coming to town.

Chamas, the churrascaria on Sheikh Zayed Road, is bringing Rio de Janeiro vibes straight to Dubai every day from Monday March 4-Friday March 8.

As well as offering up all-you-can-eat meat packages, there will be several street food stands set up offering all sorts of Brazilian eats.

It's going on from 6pm until midnight, meaning there are six whole hours to take in the carnival atmosphere.

The entertainment line-up includes performances by resident Latin band Ayele, Brazilian drummers Percussionista Brasileiro as well as Samba dancers who will sashay the night away.

Packages include the traditional, which has 18 different cuts of meat as well as a salad bar and desserts, a soft drinks option and two mixed drinks choices.

The bar even offers coconuts filled with fruit-flavoured beverages, which is the perfect way to get into the carnival spirit.

Translated from Portuguese, Chamas means flames – and there are plenty of those, with open live cooking stations throughout the restaurant.

The unlimited meat is marinated, freshly barbecued and served on skewers directly at the table. And yes, there's salad available. But we'll be busy with those delicious mouth-watering cuts.
Dhs315 (food only), Dhs350 (soft drinks), Dhs420 (house beverages). Mon Mar 4-Fri Mar 8, 6pm-midnight. Crowne Plaza Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road, crowneplazadubai.com (800 276 963).
