Popular Dubai bar Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar is now open in Ras Al Khaimah, and Time Out Dubai's been to have a look around.

The trendy nightlife venue will be open for six months only in the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, and promises “laid-back yet luxury day-to-night” partying.

The pop-up restaurant and bar will be open every day and has stunning views across the sea from its superb vantage point.

At the new venue at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, there will be a special mixed drinks menu, and if you’re peckish, there’s a sushi counter serving up signatures from the established brand.

Dishes come from Buddha-Bar Worldwide Chef Zuzumo, with highlights including tuna tartare with avocado, taro root chips and a selection of sushi including wasabi king crab maki.

Siddharta Lounge in Dubai Marina offers up sunset drinks and a laid-back vibe, with views over the Marina, so we’re hoping for the same chilled-out yet classy atmosphere at the new opening.

The venue has room for 120 guests and weekly live entertainment and music is promised. The bar will soon launch a weekly ladies’ night every Monday, too, offering up three free drinks from 8pm until midnight.

Buddha-Bar was launched in Paris in 1996 and now has venues all over the world, including in Dubai at Grosvenor House Dubai Marina, and Buddha-Bar Beach in Abu Dhabi.

We can't wait for sushi at sunset.
Swimming pool open 9am-7pm, bar open 11am-1am. Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah (07 203 5533).
