Dubai murder mystery dinner to feature Radio DJ Tony Blackburn

Fancy a murder mystery with a twist? InterContinental Dubai Festival City is hosting “Murder on the Dancefloor”, a mystery night featuring famous radio broadcaster Tony Blackburn, along with a three-course dining experience and a crime to solve.

Taking place on Wednesday March 6 from 7pm until 10pm, guests can plunge into a murder mystery inspired by Tony’s early radio days, created by the playwright Alex Broun and some of Dubai’s finest theatre talent.

Before guests crack on with the case, they’ll take a trip down memory lane as Tony goes through his career in broadcasting over a three-course set menu.

Tickets are priced at Dhs250, and you can book yourself a place right here.

Tony’s fame kicked off in his first gig as a pirate radio DJ on Radio Caroline South in 1964, who then went on to present Top of the Pops in the '60s and '70s, and Sounds of the Sixties on BBC Radio 2.

If you solve that crime, you may be up for Dubai’s terrifying new Jack the Ripper escape room. Time to channel your inner Sherlock Holmes.

Speaking of blasts from the past, British '80s pop megastar Tony Hadley is coming to Dubai on Thursday March 4 to headline Taste of Dubai.

A whodunit not to be missed.
Dhs250. Wed Mar 6, 7pm-10pm. InterContinental Dubai Festival City (04 701 1111).
