We've had brunch, we've had drunch – and now Dubai's Rove Healthcare City is hosting its latest vrunch.
The vegan brunch will offer up plant-based eats with an Italian twist on Saturday March 2.
Food blogger and chef Zendy Marsam is hosting the event, which costs just Dhs99 per person.
Dishes on offer include a plant-based lasagne, gnocchi with pesto, baked vegetable tarte and bruschetta with balsamic pearls.
The vrunch will last from 11.30am until 3.30pm, and booking is recommended – you can call 04 561 9200 to book a table.
From new dishes in your favourite restaurants to a wider variety of meat-free options in supermarkets, it's becoming easier and easier to go vegan in Dubai.
So whether you’re an established plant-based eater or new to it, there are a heap of eateries in Dubai that can cater for vegan diets.
Even Ronda Locatelli at Atlantis The Palm has launched a meat-free menu, featuring more than 40 different dishes.
Plant-based starters include insalata estiva, a summer mixed vegetable salad and insalata di spinaci, with baby spinach, pomegranate dressing and vegan cheese with walnuts.
The menu also features eight different varieties of vegan-friendly pizzas, including the quattro stragioni with vegan mozzarella, black olives, mushrooms, artichoke and aubergine, along with the classic margherita.
As for the spaghetti fans, tuck in to the spaghetti with a tangy tomato sauce, black olives, cherry tomatoes and capers, or for something a little spicier, there will be the penne arabiata.
Being a vegan in Dubai has never been tastier.
