Ka'ak Al Manara to open in Dubai Media City

The casual spot will serve up Lebanese breads with loads of fillings

Ka'ak Al Manara to open in Dubai Media City

If you've never tried a ka'ak before, then you'll want to get yourself over to Media City – because a new café-style restaurant that serves up the Lebanese breads is opening.

You can get one of the delicious treats for as little as Dhs8 at Ka'ak Al Manara, with fillings including melted cheese and turkey.

The snacks are traditionally toasted and served with light fillings – as well as sprinkles of spices such as za'atar and sumac or chilli paste.

The menu also has plenty of filling options including the loaded kafta, which features cheddar cheese, tomatoes, pickes and garlic mayo.

Or try something a bit more traditional such as toasted falafel or the beef shawarma ka'ak.

If you're ordering for the whole office, there are "be a hero" party boxes offering 12 half ka'aks for as little as Dhs69 – or 24 mini ka'aks for Dhs99. Just make sure you remember to call up in advance.

We're waiting for full details of when the restaurant will be open – so keep an eye out on Time Out Dubai for updates.

Luckily, Dubai has loads of excellent Lebanese restaurants for you to try out in the meantime.

The best of the bunch is Babel, an import from Beirut that won Best Lebanese at Time Out Dubai's 2019 Restaurant Awards.
Opening soon. Dubai Media City, kaakalmanara.com.
