When we think contemporary, we think something completely fresh and new. Judging from the dishes in this new restaurant’s menu, it seems to deliver just that.
Brand-new contemporary dining concept LOWE has officialy opened its doors, with an international menu crafted by Australian chefs Jesse Blake and Kate Christou.
Located in the KOA Canvas community at Wadi Al Safa, LOWE promises an “informal take on contemporary dining,” all in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Since its opening earlier this month, the new spot has been treating guests to dishes from its central wood fire oven.
The breakfast menu has new takes on morning favourites, including a buckwheat waffle with wood-smoked peach, burnt honey and whipped custard, smashed avocado and cured salmon flatbread with kohlrabi and coriander, along with a salt beef flatbread with kimchi hot sauce, a fried egg, pickled onion and rocket.
Fan of a cheese toastie (who isn’t)? LOWE also has a special molten cheese vegemite toastie on the menu, and it looks like a must-eat.
As for other dishes with a twist, expect pressed cucumbers with smoked labneh, local clams, orzo, lamb belly xo with parsley and lemon and charred cauliflowers, golden raisin chimmi, spiced cashew with coriander yoghurt. We’re intrigued.
You can get your hands on all these dishes daily from 7am (8am on weekends) until 11.30am for breakfast, noon until 3.30pm for lunch and 5pm until 11pm for dinner.
