Costa launches new superhero coffees for Comic Con

Even superheroes need a pick-me-up every now and again and Costa has just the ticket for those flagging powers.

For a limited time only, the coffee shop chain is joining forces with Comic Con to bring two incredible superhero drinks, guaranteed to defeat the villainy of thirst and fatigue.

The two brews are available from now until Saturday April 13 at select Costa stores and include the Superhero Matcha Macchiato and the Superhero Charcoal Macchiato.

The Matcha Macchiato features a pop of radioactive green (otherwise known as green tea matcha) to add an interesting flavour, while the Charcoal Macchiato is made by adding a splash of delicious hot frothy milk to coffee before being sprinkled with charcoal powder.

The drinks start from just Dhs19 each, meaning you can save those dirhams for petrol for the Batmobile and dry cleaning for the tights.

Comic Con kicks off this year on Thursday April 11 until Saturday April 13 at Dubai World Trade Centre and the event is hosting some A-list names.

First off, prepare for Shazam! The star of DC’s latest movie Zachary Levi is coming to town to sign all of those autographs.

Mike Colter, AKA Netflix’s Luke Cage, will be dishing out all the deets on his career over the event, and you can get up close and personal by watching him live on the MEFCC Theatre presenting celebrity panels and Q&As.

He’ll be joined by none other than Katie Cassidy, who you’ll know from hit DC show Arrow playing Black Canary. Fan of The Walking Dead? Well, Aaron (Ross Marquand) will be making his way here to answer all your zombie-type questions.

Even Game of Thrones’ craziest character Ramsay Bolton (Welsh actor Iwan Rheon) will be there for more Q&A sessions. Let’s hope Theon is at a safe distance...
From Dhs19. Thu Apr 11-Sat Apr 13. Various locations including JLT and Media City, www.costacoffee.ae.
