Hungry shoppers who have strolled the corridors of Mall of the Emirates will know and love Common Grounds. And now there’s a third branch of the popular café in Dubai – and it’s in JLT.

The new café is in Almas Tower in JLT and there’s plenty of dishes that fans will find familiar on the menu including breakfast tacos, smashed avocado on toast and acai bowls, as well as the chain’s signature coffees.

The new opening follows the launch of Common Grounds in DIFC – which is only open in the week, for office workers in the area. The DIFC outlet is a "hybrid concept" that has a joint focus on takeaway and dining.

The homegrown eatery comes from Bull & Roo, the team behind Tom & Serg, The Sum of Us and Brunswick Eatery, Bar & Terrace. And we’re sure it’s going to be a popular addition to JLT.

There are loads of salads on the menu, too, including burrata, tandoori chicken, greens and grains, kimchi and more. There’s also a Mekong chicken burger, vegan black bean and sesame burger, wild mushroom risotto, vegan rice wraps and more.

And if you’re looking for a quick lunch you’re in luck, as there’s a range of sandwiches and wraps to try – including roast veg and halloumi wrap, satay chicken wrap, chicken chorizo baguette and a katsu wrap.

Make ours a flat white and a breakfast bowl.
Open daily 7am-6pm. Almas Tower, JLT (056 511 8733).
