A La Turca

Asateer
During Ramadan, you’ll see tents springing up across the city at scores of restaurants. None is as big or famous as Asateer at Atlantis The Palm. It’s headed up by famed chef Ali El Bourji and typically serves 60,000 diners during the month for iftar and suhoor. Expect to find buffets for both, live cooking stations, hot and cold mezze, soup, grilled meat and seafood, Ramadan desserts and more.

Crescendo
Head to this restaurant at the Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort and enjoy an iftar buffet featuring Mediterranean and international cuisine with a live qanun (Arabic string instrument) player for entertaiment.

Fairuz
There are both Arabic and international flavours at this iftar buffet, held in a striking, specially made Ramadan tent. Dishes are served with fresh juices, plus live entertainment every night.

Ibn AlBahr
Head to Time Out Dubai’s Best Seafood Restaurant 2019, for a menu with hot and cold mezze, fresh fish, desserts and drinks, served by the sea.

Hakkasan
Try an alternative take on traditional iftars by heading to the world-famous Cantonese restaurant. The four-course set menu includes signature dishes such as the Peking duck and dim sum platter as well as dishes specifically created for Ramadan. Dress code is smart elegant and only children aged ten and above are permitted.

Kaleidoscope
