Celebrate Wellington Week at Bread Street Kitchen

Gordon Ramsay is famous for many reasons – from his explosive TV appearances to his world-famous restaurants. However, if there’s a dish he’s best known for it has to be the beef Wellington.

If you’re a fan of the dish you’ll be pleased to hear that Bread Street Kitchen & Bar by Gordon Ramsay at Atlantis The Palm is hosting an entire week dedicated to the famous dish.

Until Sunday June 30, the British-themed eatery is serving up a unique twist on Ramsay’s signature dish – the Surf and Turf Wellington.

Expect a combination of lobster and beef served with truffle mash potato, samphire and roasted carrots with a lobster and red grape jus. The indulgent dish comes in at Dhs275 per person or Dhs520 to share and is being served alongside the à la carte menu.

If you have sweet tooth (or any space left…) you can also try the dark chocolate Wellington for dessert which is served with fruit coulis and vanilla ice-cream. Phew.

Thirsty? To accompany the lobster-beef hybrid you can sample a hand-crafted juniper mixed drink for Dhs65.

Looking for other places to try the famous Wellington? Chef duo Nick Alvis and Scott Price, who trained under Ramsay in London, have their own version on the menu – which they say rivals the famed chef’s. Plus they have a special weekend deal to try, too.
