The popular longstanding Thai restaurant in Madinat Jumeirah is hosting a summer deal, where you can get a three-course menu for Dhs180.
The pretty restaurant is set on the waterways of Madinat Jumeirah, and what’s better than arriving to dinner by abra?
The limited-edition Sunset Menu will run until Saturday August 10. It will run daily from 6pm to 8pm, and the menu comes from chef Aphichat Amatmontri.
Dishes on the menu includes plha nuea ma khua pho – grilled beef salad with Thai aubergine, chilli paste, garlic and lemon dressing, sate gai – grilled marinated chicken sate, coconut milk, lemongrass and peanut sauce, or som tam je – green papaya salad with tomato, apple, cashew nuts and tamarind dressing.
Mains courses include phad phed nuea – wok fried beef red curry with long beans, Thai aubergine coconut shoot, green pepper corn, red chilli and sweet basil, gaeng khiew wan gai – green chicken curry with Thai aubergine, coconut shoot and Thai basil, gaeng khiew wan phak – vegetable green curry with tofu, Thai aubergine, mushroom and Thai basil, or phad Thai je – vegetable Thai noodles with tofu, bean sprouts and tamarind sauce.
Finally there’s a choice of dessert including including tap tim krob – crispy water chestnut with sugar syrup, coconut milk and crushed ice or pholla mai ruam – a selection of tropical fruits.
