Every week the beachside restaurant from British chef Tom Aikens hosts a roast, where for Dhs134 you can get striploin, chicken or salmon with all the trimmings.

The Sunday night curry night here comes in the form of a thali, crammed full of curry platters and delicious sides. You can dine indoors or al fresco, devouring four curry mains served up with rice, chapatti, yoghurt and salads.

The Lido
