Brambles now serves healthy and vegan afternoon tea packages

Cute café Brambles in Barsha Heights has launched new afternoon tea packages with a twist.

Forget calorific scones packed full of jam and mountains of clotted cream, the afternoon tea at Brambles is a healthier option, and there’s even one for vegans.

The “California-inspired” afternoon package, which boasts to be a healthier and fresher approach to the traditional variation, includes artichoke and spinach tarts, feta and roasted red pepper sandwiches, salmon and fava bean toasts, manchego and quince squares, kale brownies and more. The package comes in at Dhs115 per person or Dhs195 if you fancy sharing it with a mate.

If you’re looking to have a plant-based tea party you can indulge in a selection of vegan bites that include oat and coconut scones, chickpea salad sandwiches, beetroot hummus and apple sandwiches, vegan cheese and cucumber sandwiches, tahini banana bread and more for either Dhs135 per person or Dhs250 to share with a friend.

Afternoon tea is now served daily from 3pm until 5pm and pre-booking is required. The vegan-friendly café can also cater private afternoon tea parties for bridal showers, baby showers and birthdays.
