Uber Eats is now charging delivery fee based on distance

From superfood-packed salads to cheesy pizzas, light snacks and desserts galore, you can have everything your heart desires at the mere swipe of a finger in Dubai and it doesn’t have to break the bank either.

Popular food delivery app Uber Eats has announced that it will now be charging delivery fees based on distance, meaning that ordering from nearby will now cost less with fees starting from as low as Dhs4.

When ordering from restaurants closer to you, you’ll see more affordable options but can still order from eateries further away – just at a higher price.

The app will use your location to determine which restaurants are available to you, with the option to filter restaurants by the delivery fee. The fee is also highlighted up front in the app so that there are no surprises when checking out.

Download the app and order from more than 100 restaurants across town such as BurgerFuel, Operation Falafel and Magnolia Bakery, seven days a week and as always, there’s also no minimum order.

Whether you’re having a sofa and Netflix day or just dining al desko, some days just call for a takeaway.
