Have any dinner plans coming up? You’ll want to cancel them if it lands on a Tuesday, as it’s time to dine the French way.
Bistrot Bagatelle's Executive Chef Timothy Newton has brought new culinary French finesse into an exciting new menu.
Taking place every Tuesday night, the notorious French night – ‘Le Mardi C’est Permis’ – now has a dedicated French-themed menu – all for Dhs295.
Each guest will get to choose one dish per course , and expect a selection of tasty starters including terrine de foie gras with fig and apple, and toasted brioche, along with escargot de bourgogne, burgundy snails with garlic butter, pecorino and sourdough.
That’s just the start of it all. For main course, foodies can indulge in boeuf bourguignon, 48-hour braised beef short-rib with comte cheese mash, maitake mushroom and veal jus, as well as gnocchis au saumon fume – homemade smoked salmon gnocchi with confit fennel, compressed caviar and bleu de brebis sauce.
Those looking for a Bagatelle signature, the poulet à la truffe noire is just for you. Roasted baby chicken with black truffle, leek fondue and morel cream sauce is not one to be missed.
To finish off the special Le Mardi C’est Permis night, Bagatelle offers its sweet selection of classic French desserts (live, by the way) you’ll want to save plenty of room for.
Sounds très bon? This is one Tuesday night you'll want to get in your diary today.
