There’s a brand-new Mexican restaurant in Dubai, and it has some top-notch views of Burj Khalifa to enjoy alongside your tacos.

La Mezcaleria is now open at The Oberoi Dubai, in Business Bay, and is run by the same team that runs Iris, WHITE, WHITE Beach and Drai’s.

Set on the 27th floor of the hotel we’re promised exciting dishes as well as live music and stunning views.

The space formerly held cool Lebanese nightspot Iris and can fit more than 500 people. It boasts colourful décor and front row views of Burj Khalifa.

When it comes to the menu we’re promised “pan Latin fusion twists” and is served sharing-style, with plenty of tacos, quesadillas and more.

“We are truly delighted to introduce an innovative concept that explores the depths of Pan-Latin cuisine and offers a dynamic experience for Dubai’s cosmopolitan residents. Our vision is to create an energetic ambience with palatable food and magnificent views,” said Mezcaleria’s General Manager, Carlos Santos.

But if you’re missing Iris, the cool Lebanese nightspot is now at Meydan racecourse and has new deals, including a Friday brunch from 1pm until 5pm every week, where you’ll get creative drinks, skyline views and live cooking stations, from Dhs250. Meanwhile on a Sunday you can get a tasting menu of signature dishes and a glass of bubbly for Dhs350 a person. It has super views across to Downtown Dubai, too.
