If you’re craving Indian cuisine and have already made your way around some of the best in Dubai, get ready for a new spot to try.

New Indian restaurant and bar Bombay Borough is set to officially open its doors, and it aims to offer a selection of India’s unique ingredients, spices and flavours – "reinvented".

Opening its doors in DIFC Gate Village 3 on Saturday February 1, the new spot will offer ‘hyper-local’ Indian cuisine. The menu is inspired by all corners of India, sourcing Bhoot Jolokia from the North East, Aam Papad in the North West, along with pink salt from the Himalayas in the North.

So, what’s there for foodies to look forward to? Guntur podi chicken, haleem pate with saf-fron sheermal, Aam papad paneer, naga ghost pepper wings (sounds spicy) and panch phoran chargrilled prawns populate the menu.

Bombay Borough also brings The Gully Kitchen, a fast-casual kitchen offering Indian food to go, including gluten free dosa pockets and grab-and-go biryani – made from scratch.

The restaurant also includes a botanist-inspired bar, serv-ing up Desi-style mixed drinks and more that uses local Indian ingredients. We’re intrigued.

As for its space, the newcomer will be spread across two floors, with an al fresco terrace and interior designs all inspired by India.

We can’t wait to tuck into those dishes, but while we wait, check out the best restaurants in Dubai with our Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2020 nominees, right here.
