Cé La Vi
World-famous restaurant Cé La Vi opened recently on the 54th floor at the Address Sky View hotel in Downtown Dubai, and it has launched a new brunch featuring a set menu of contemporary Asian dishes. The brunch www.timeoutdubai.com/brunch starts off with seaweed parker rolls accompanied by butter infused with date honey, yuzu labneh with a pistachio verde, and a smoked salmon dip with salmon roe and chive oil. Starters include signature dishes such as wagyu beef tartare with marinated salmon roe, Spanish bluefin tuna carpaccio, oysters with a yuzu dressing and a selection of salads, while mains on offer include a green curry with mussels, a New York striploin steak and a selection of sides.Have a sweet tooth? Make sure to leave room for pud – the delicious-sounding desserts include a yuzu meringue tart, a strawberry mousse cake with Thai basil, chocolate truffles, fresh fruits and more. The new ‘Brunch on 54’ takes place every Friday between 1pm and 4pm and comes in at Dhs495 per person which includes free-flowing house beverages and fancy French bubbly.

Junipers at Vida Emirates Hills now has a special Saturday barbecue brunch so you can spend a lazy evening watching the sunset. The Saturdaze Sundowners BBQ Brunch runs every Saturday from 4pm until 7pm, so there’s no early alarm clock either. The brunch is just Dhs149 with soft drink, Dhs249 with free-flowing Spanish beverages. The juniper-themed bar will be serving up dishes including charcoal rotisserie chicken and king fish steaks with romesco butter as well as build-your-own bento boxes.
Meanwhile a DJ will provide chilled-out beats so you can enjoy the sunset.

If you’re yet to check out Torno Subito at W Dubai – The Palm, now could be your chance. The Italian restaurant from famed chef Massimo Bottura has a new Saturday offering that runs from 1pm until 4pm every week. Torno Sabato stars a sharing-style lunch with soft drinks for Dhs349 and house beverages for Dhs499. Plus there’s live music and entertainment.

The Loft Dubai has launched a brand-new night brunch, which promises an evening of “glam overload”. The new brunch runs every Thursday from 9pm until midnight, so if you’re looking to start your weekend in party style. There’s a range of drinks stations, nibbles and pass around platters to try, with prices starting at Dhs299. The Loft Dubai sits at the top of Dubai Opera and has a huge indoor area, plus a terrace with views of Burj Khalifa, so expect a chic night out.
