There’s no denying that Dubai is the land of delivery, as residents can pretty much get anything sent straight to their doorstep.

For those places that are just out of reach though, Carrefour has launched just the delivery concept in the form of a bus.

The retail giant has revealed Mobimart, the region’s first-ever grocery bus that delivers a variety of daily groceries and fresh food to underserved neighbourhoods, six days a week.

The new grocery bus includes a selection of supplies, including organic produce, frozen food, snacks, beverages, and light household items.

The bus is set to visit areas throughout Dubai, with the majority being residential, as well as stops at Kite Beach and Rahaba Residences.

Other destinations the bus will swing by include Jafza area’s South Gate, Meydan, Emirates Pilots Village, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Jumeirah Islands, and Dubai Sports City.

The schedule of when Mobimart will be posted regularly on

“Residents in the UAE have high expectations of personalised delivery services and Carrefour has successfully brought a grocery shopping experience to their doorsteps,” said managing director and co-founder of Bespoke Trailers Jamal Wick.

“We are also appreciative for their support to local SMEs through such initiatives, reflecting their efforts to contribute to the diversification of the economy.”

Country manager of Carrefour UAE Phillippe Peguilhan added: “Carrefour Mobimart represents Majid Al Futtaim’s commitment to provide innovative, and seamless customer experiences to our shoppers, as we bring Carrefour to their doorsteps.”

The new Carrefour Mobimart was built in Dubai by homegrown Bespoke Trailers, a start-up based in Al Quoz.
