Cashless food brought to your car from two of the city’s best restaurants

COYA and OPA Dubai launch fine-dining takeaway for the first time

Already scrolled your way to the very bottom of Dubai’s top takeaway apps? Not prepared to cook dinner tonight? Well, two of Dubai’s award-winning fine-dining restaurants have launched new takeaway options that might just tickle your fancy while spending time in at home.

Two winners from the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2020 have announced that they’re going to be arranging, for the first time ever, dedicated takeaway options for diners.

OPA Dubai, at Fairmont Dubai, and COYA Dubai, and Four Seasons Dubai Resort at Jumeirah Beach, have both confirmed that you can collect a huge range of dishes specially created for you to enjoy at home.

Dubbed “COYA 2 U”, the Best Latin American Restaurant of 2020 (according to our awards) will be laying on a special menu of signature soups, appetisers, mains, sides and desserts. With many of the classic dishes on the menu, including pollo a la parilla, maki rolls and arroz Nikkei, available for order, you can reserve a meal for collection between 12.30pm and 10.30pm every day.

Your order will be taken to your car by waiters wearing protective gear in recyclable and biodegradable boxes, and only cashless payment will be accepted so no contact is required. And, what’s more, you’ll also be given a free Peruvian vitamin boost full of ginger, fresh fruits and juices.

OPA Dubai, the top-quality Greek restaurant (and Highly Commended award-winner) will be offering many of its signature dishes from the menu available to order too.

Place your order between noon and 8pm, and pick it up between 5pm and 10.30pm – and again you won’t have to leave your car.

There are seven main course dishes from which to choose, including lamb chops, wagyu beef and lobster orzo. Or you can go for a range of stone-baked breads, salads, hot starters (including the incredible home-made leek, spinach and feta pie, or the lamb and rice meatballs), or even some classic dips like tzatziki, hummus and spicy feta dip.

Take your pick.
COYA: Daily 12.30pm-10.30pm. Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, Jumeirah (04 316 9600).
OPA: Daily noon-10.30pm. Fairmont Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 357 0557, 055 835 7944).
