Alchemy Coffee

Know your Chemex from your AeroPress? This super-cool coffee house in Jumeirah opposite Dar Wasl Mall specialises in all things coffee sourced from ethical single farms coffees. With a mission of “providing quality coffee whilst supporting coffee farmers communities around the world”, the menu features speciality brews and sweet treats like tahini brownies, cookies and buns.

Amongst Few

Located in Jumeirah’s Palm Strip Mall, this seriously cool café is ideal if you’re after an expertly made flat white along with a wholesome (and highly Instagrammable) meal. With vegan dishes galore, this is a hugely popular spot with plant-based diners and there’s also an attached shop www.timeoutdubai.com/shopping, selling trendy clothes, trainers and accessories.

Culinary Boutique

If you like kitsch pastel crockery, cute interiors, massive cakes and Insta-worthy coffee, head to Culinary Boutique. Don’t even think about leaving without trying the signature lavender cappuccino. And don’t forget to snap it for the ‘gram.

Drop Dubai

This uber-trendy speciality coffee shop isn’t just known for its high-quality coffee, it’s also popular for its Instagram-friendly aesthetic. Consider yourself a coffee connoisseur? You’ll be well-catered for here as its menu includes everything from bottled cold brews, creamy lattes and concoctions we can barely even pronounce.

Emirati Coffee Shop

With a roastery in Al Quoz, a coffee shop in Jumeirah’s Dar Wasl Mall and a strong focus on sustainability, Emirati Coffee Shop uses only the highest quality specialty coffee from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, Peru, Rwanda and Yemen. The menu features everything from Arabic coffee, macchiatos, lattes and manual brews – if you know your stuff when it comes to coffee, this coffee shop in Jumeirah is the place for you.

Kulture House

Jumeirah is known for its super-cool coffee shops and Kulture House is no exception. There’s a warm, friendly vibe and trendy décor at the coffee shop-meets-art gallery-meets-shop and the venue is split into several spaces including a coffee bar and a shop selling various trinkets. If you love coffee culture and Instagrammable avocado toast, this one is for you.

Leen's Casual to Gourmet

Formerly known as The Surf Café, and just a stone’s throw from the beach, this fresh and funky all-day dining spot has long been a popular weekend hangout for long lazy breakfasts fuelled by expertly-made coffees. With a laidback surfer vibe and an exceptional range of breakfast dishes, this is a top spot in Jumeirah to grab a bite to eat and kick back in casual surroundings.

Mokha 1450 Coffee Boutique

Found along Al Wasl Road, this little wood-clad majlis of a Jumeirah coffee shop focuses on speciality coffee primarily produced in its original heartland: Ethiopia and Yemen. The port of Mokha in Yemen is where coffee started to be traded to the rest of the world, around the middle of the 15th century, which is the inspiration for the brand’s name. What makes Mokha 1450’s coffee ‘speciality’, is a score of 80 and above out of 100 on the international grading scale used by all coffee tasters and professionals.

Myocum

While Myocum, an Aussie coffee shop and casual eatery, can’t claim to be the first of its kind in the city, it is worthy of checking out, especially for a cup of coffee as there’s a dedication to serving good coffee here, such is the Australian way. The food menu is filled with interesting breakfast dishes, salad bowls, sandwiches and more, with breakfast being served until 3pm, which gets a big thumbs up from us.

Stomping Grounds

Serving Dubai’s own Specialty Batch Coffee, this cosy and homey Australian coffee hub in the heart of Jumeirah 1, is always buzzing. It could be down to the impressive range of breakfast dishes (it took home the award from Dubai’s best breakfast spot at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2020, or the tasty brunch options, or the sensational coffees. We think it’s a combination of them all. One of the best coffee shops in Jumeirah.
