Food halls are fast becoming a big dining trend of the 2020s around the world – and now Dubai is set to welcome another to the city.
Located in Gate Avenue in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), South Market – a self-described urban food hall – is set to house 15 kitchens serving dishes from around the world.
While many of the concepts are new to the city, one familiar option will be Cereal Killer Café. The London-born concept currently has a branch in The Dubai Mall, where it serves up novelty and retro breakfast cereals from around the world.
Diners will also be able to try Thai dishes from Bangkok eatery BKK Bistro and sweet bubble teas from Singaporean Modern Asian Desserts (M.A.D.)
Further eateries to try include Earth Kitchen, Burritos Beyond Borders, Katus & Co and Spheerz Restaurant.
German fast-casual chain Call a Pizza is also set to open soon, alongside Texas concept Jax Burgers, seafood joint Crab Market Restaurant and Egyptian outlet Bahiya.
Once fully opened, South Market also promises a constantly changing selection of kitchens and kiosks that will continue to offer a variety of foods from around the world.
