Live music returns to Jazz@PizzaExpress

News that live music can return to Dubai’s best-loved haunts is not just great news for this city’s talented artists – it’s brilliant for everyone who’s missed them over the past few months.

Fancy getting back out to show them some love? Let’s do this.

Among venues now hosting live entertainment is JLT’s hugely popular Jazz@PizzaExpress, with live music from PJ four days a week.

On Mondays, from 8pm to 11pm, expect a live soundtrack of classic pop, soul, Motown and neo soul. Mondays also see the restaurant’s two-for-one nights take place, with two-for-one deals on all food and drinks.

On Wednesdays, it’s ladies’ night, with 25 percent off food and three free glasses of grape, while PJ performs R&B, soul, jazz and upbeat hits.

Brunch has also returned, with Love Parties’ The Stage edition taking place every Thursday from 8pm to 11pm, with packages priced at Dhs199 for soft drinks and Dhs299 with house bubbles. There’s also a pre-brunch happy hour from 4pm to 8pm, with drinks starting from Dhs30.

Friday brunch is also back, featuring unlimited food and drinks, and taking place from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, with house beverage packages priced at Dhs225.

Friday evenings, meanwhile, are currently reserved for the Summer Social package, where from 8pm you can enjoy unlimited starters, a main course and three house beverages for Dhs159 per person, while PJ plays upbeat party tracks, R&B and jazz.

Saturday is Date Night, where couples can share a bottle of house grape and an order of dough balls, plus a main course and dessert each, all for Dhs210 for two, to a live soundtrack of love songs, classic pop, R&B and jazz.

An American Hot slice with a side of soul? Bring it on.
