One of Dubai’s very best restaurants has reopened.
Multiple award-winner folly by Nick & Scott, current holder of Time Out Dubai’s Best European restaurant title, has opened its doors once again at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, and this summer it’s putting on a special set menu for just Dhs250 per person.
The new deal includes a three course meal, with a variety of dishes to choose from – including folly signatures.
Starter options include the restaurant’s acclaimed monkfish cheeks, as well as plates such as crispy hen’s egg, Devon crab, halloumi with watermelon and fried bread with safe, onion and spelt.
Diners’ main options range from lamb saddle with whipped pine nuts and salsa to sea bream with broccoli, cockles and lemongrass, while sirloin of beef with braised shallots and bone marrow is also available for a Dhs15 supplement, as well as sides of hand-cut chips, creamed jacket potatoes or sautéed greens for an additional Dhs25.
For dessert, choose from rhubarb and custard or a selection of British cheeses, among others.
Alpine-themed restaurant Publique, located just downstairs from folly by Nick & Scott, has also reopened, bringing its familiar brunch deal back to the Madinat.
Available every evening, the food and drinks package is priced at Dhs295 for three hours, and in addition to house beverages includes a selection of cold cuts and hot bites (think croquettes, risotto balls), followed by a cheese-orientated main of either raclette, fondue or pierrade, and finally chocolate fondue and fresh fruits served to the table.
This week (Wednesday August 5) also saw the launch of Souk Madinat Jumeirah’s huge new ladies’ night – taking place across six of its restaurants and bars. Click here for more information on the weekly deal.
Sounds like Souk Madinat Jumeirah suddenly has it all going on.
