Cactus Cantina Dubai

Time Out Says

Tex-Mex is one of those cuisines that's almost impossible to get wrong, and though this Mexican restaurant’s new location in Wafi has killed some of its atmosphere, the food is still pleasing. Portions are typically enormous and you’ll wonder how you ever considered attempting to ingest so much when the dishes start appearing. The potato skins are topped with cheese, jalapeños and pico de gallo, though there is the option of also adding meat, while the guacamole is mixed with sour cream and has a lovely lemony tang. There are plenty of options for mains, too, including the succulent combination fajitas, which are disappointingly low on tortillas and served without grated cheese – yes, you have to pay extra to sprinkle the good stuff on your wrap. You’ll find enchiladas, quesadillas, chimichanga and even fish tacos; the trouble is deciding which one takes your fancy.
