Eataly Restaurant - Dubai Mall


Time Out Says

The first thing you notice about Eataly is the enormity of the space. Beyond a small café area (for desserts and coffees) and an Italian food market selling fresh pastas, sauces and delicacies comes the restaurant itself. Here, perhaps contrary to the mall setting, you will find authentic dishes from across Italy. The paccheri alla pescatora is a seafood pasta with mussels, shrimps, calamari and clams and is richly-flavoured. Main courses are ambitious for a non-hotel restaurant with options including grilled lamb bone, salsa-topped kingfish and roasted chicken. It can’t quite match the ambience of ‘proper’ Italian restaurants, but for mall dining this is different class. Skip the food court and try out the traditional thin crust Italian pizzas. These and the pasta dishes are all safe bets for mid-shop eats and the desserts are actually worth a trip across town for.
